My Reedsy Review is in!

"This is a fantastic and well-written epic fantasy that readers will devour."- Kristin Baney, Reedsy Discovery

A heartfelt thank you to Kristin Baney for Reedsy Discovery Book Reviews! Thank you for taking the time to read and review my debut novel, Of Water and Dance.

"Fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres. It is a genre filled with mystique and adventure. Every once in a while a new books comes along that intrigues and delights readers even more than usual. Of Water and Dance is such a book."

Kristen Baney took time to not only read my novel, but to appreciate the all-consuming nature of writing epic fantasy. Recognizing the sweat, tears, and many months a writer has put into their work and then praising them for it, well it doesn't get much sweeter than that. Thank you for going on an adventure with not just me, but with Evengel, Castor, Raeve, Bane, Maeuveen, Liliat, and all the Goddesses and Gods trapped in their earthen prison.

Kristen Baney for Reedsy Discovery Book Reviews

"Fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres. It is a genre filled with mystique and adventure. Every once in a while a new books comes along that intrigues and delights readers even more than usual. Of Water and Dance is such a book.

Mortals do not dare enter the forest where the ancient Gods live. But when a Leviathan is found sleeping deep inside a mountain, and a Priestess discovers her destiny, her decision between her fates causes a rift in the separation between mortals and Gods. The lives of several people have been intertwined. Siblings are born with an ancient, forgotten magic flowing in their veins. A dying Prince. And a Sergeant whose secrets are revealed due to his abilities on the battlefield. Secrets are at the core of their alliance. But secrets have a way of coming to the open, and the price of this secret might just be death.

The author has done a wonderful job with this book. According to her notes, this book was written many years ago, and it took over a year to write. I can totally believe that because this story is well-thought out and flows perfectly. The story does not lag and it is not boring at all. The author has done a great job of drawing the reader in and keeping their attention. My only thing was that the copy I read had some formatting issues where words were split between lines. It did make reading a little bit difficult.

This book is an epic fantasy for adults. It has some strong language that may not be suitable for younger audiences. I think fantasy lovers will appreciate this new book. To me, the title itself is highly intriguing. A book called Of Water and Dance will certainly draw my attention. I am sure readers will love this one for quite some time."
